Hotel Carlton Palace: Chambre 763

Sale price$150.00

In the summer of 1993, Hans Ulrich Obrist left Switzerland and traveled to Paris, where he rented a room in the Hotel Carlton Place. There, he staged an intervention, inviting artists—from Maurizio Cattelan, Paul-Armand Gette, and Leon Golub to Isa Genzken, Felix Gonzalez-Torres, and Gerhard Richter—to exhibit their works within the intimacy of Room 763. This publication documents the now-legendary exhibition, featuring the work of the 70 invited artists.
