Warhol's World

This publication marks the beginning of Hauser & Wirth’s cooperation with the printer and publisher Gerhard Steidl. Under the imprint Steidl Hauser & Wirth, more than 15 artist books and catalogues would be published. Curated by Anthony d’Offay, ‘Warhol’s World’ featured over 300 unique and previously unseen prints selected from the collection of the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts. Taken between 1976 and 1987, these images vividly depict the vibrant social scene surrounding Warhol.
